Under new legislation is it mandatory to leak test all static air conditioning units with a charge of >3kg of refrigerant. Generally speaking this would be any unit (cassette, wall mount or ducted) with upwards of 10kw of cooling capacity. Records have to be kept on site of all such units and work carried out on them!
